Juicy. Citrussy. Tipsy. Leading with lemon and ending with a hit of Champagne and gin, our take on this beloved tipple has all the zest and punch of a real French 75. A favourite of our Senior Chocolatier and ‘Cocktail Queen’ Kiri, our Inventing Room team worked for months to find the perfect balance of ingredients to capture its flavour (tasting the occasional French 75 cocktail for research purposes, of course...).
They settled on generous measures of Mercier Champagne and a lively gin, lifted with a squeeze of lemon: all poured into 40% milk chocolate and presented in a lemon-hued cacao shell. The result is a sublimely citrussy recipe with a gentle alcohol warmth, plus a bouquet of floral notes from our house culinary gin.
