Our Saint Lucian Island Growers 70% Dark Chocolate Batons are a celebration of the Caribbean island’s cacao beans in 15 perfectly proportioned, delectably dippable solid chocolates. But don’t be fooled by their singular shape. Take a bite, and each Baton reveals a spectrum of flavours – from fruity opening notes of tangy red cherry to the subtle, nutty warmth of almonds.
The secret behind the unique taste? To make these Batons, our chocolatiers cherry-pick the highest-quality cacao beans direct from the Island Growers of Saint Lucia, who we’ve worked with for over 20 years. All the cacao beans used are grown in line with our gentle farming initiatives, which we’ve developed alongside our farmer partners in Saint Lucia.
The beans are sorted, dried and fermented at our Rabot Estate cacao farm, then we roast and conch them closer to home at our Hadley Park HQ in Cambridgeshire. In fact, our in-house chocolatiers curate every step of the journey, right up until they’re shaped into elegant Batons.
